Here is a collection of all the spreadsheets and list that I have developed over the years.  Nothing too fancy, but I have spent quite a bit of time editing them to be just what I needed.  Keep in mind that I designed them for me so some of the jargon might not be understood by you.  If something is confusing, E-mail me and I will try to help out.  Hope you enjoy them!

Are You Drinkin' With Me?

Drinkin' Math - Do you want to get the most drunk for the least amount of calories?  Do you wonder whether to drink a jack and coke or a light beer?  Well as I got older I started to wonder and this is the spread sheet I created.  It tells you how your drink holds up against other choices you might have.  It also provides a list of where the top 92 beer in America rank as far as alcohol/calorie.

Northwest Liquor Prices - If you are getting ready for a big trip where your liquor needs are large, check out this spreadsheet.  It has liquor prices from all over the Northwest.  Have the person coming from the state with the cheapest liquor pick it up.

Trip Leader's Budgeting Sheets

Multi-day Trip with same and differing participations - So you are TL on a Middle Fork trip and 3 people are flying out at Indian Creek, 5 are joining at the Flying B and everyone has a fist full of receipts for stuff they bought.  How do you do the math to see who owes what?  Type it all into this sheet and it will tell you the answer.  Also works if everyone rafts for the same # of days.

Multi-day Trip With Different Currencies - Traveling through Mexico or Canada with a bunch of river people can reek havoc on a TL trying to keeps the books balanced.  This spreadsheet takes into account different currencies, differing amounts of participation (like some arrives late), and is formulated for a pay as you go trip in which no money was collected up front.  Everyone's balance is calculated and available at all times.

Big Trip Organization Sheet - If you are planning a large adventure on the river, this spreadsheet would be good for you.  It has tabs along the bottom to keep track of vital trip statistics.  This is designed as a pay as you go sheet where information on who is buying what can be entered before, after and during the trip.  It will keep track of how far ahead or behind each person is getting.

"The Mother of All Spreadsheets" - This spreadsheet is only for the person who is insane enough to put together trips of over 30 or even 40 people for 6+ days at a time.  It contains all kinds of worksheets and should not be pondered by the weak or people with no spare time.  To undertake the use of this spreadsheet will cause one to miss entire months of their lives as they make sure the trip comes together.  This sheet is designed when you have a good idea of how much the trip will cost and you are going to charge up front for all expenses and then bill or return the remainder at the end of the trip.  This is the sheet I use every even numbered year when we decided to pull off an extre-mo-trip.  Some of the things we take would be offensive to some, but one trip every 2 years.....well we gotta let it ride.

Rafting Equipment Lists

List for People's Personal Gear - If your friend asks what to bring for a river trip, you can send them this sheet which kinda lays out what they might need.  This can be custom tailored with your ideas.

Repair Kit "Light" - If you need a basic repair kit for a short trip, this list should help.  It is angled towards my boats which are Urethane.

Repair Kit "Heavy" - Going down The Grand or doing a Middle Fork/Main?  This kit should probably have all you need.  Keep in mind some of the name I use are not standard.  E-mail me if you need an explanation.

9-12 Person Multi-day List - This list is one I created for doing the average 9 - 12 person trip for no more than 3-4 days.  It calls for one paddle boat and 2 cargo rafts.  Kayaks or more rafts can easily be worked into the mix.  It is pretty simple, but a handy reference.

2 Person Multi-day - This equipment list is for just what it says.  When Jessica and I go rafting for several days, I will kayak and she will row this gear down the river.

First Aid Kit - This is a list of all the stuff I carry in my "Master" first aid kit.  It is a really big pelican case with dividers.

Kayaking Equipment List - Are you on your way to kayak for the day?  Be sure to check out this list before you leave the house and it might save a trip back home.

Kitchen Box List - We make sure our kitchen box is stocked before every big trip.  This kitchen is for the average 30 person trip.

Small Trip Kitchen - Doing a small trip and need just the minimum?  Here is the list I reference.

Hunting Equipment Lists

Backpack Hunting List - When I go hunting using a backpack only, here is a list of the stuff I bring.  I know it is a lot, but in October you have to be prepared for whatever the outdoors dishes out.

Hunting with Horses - When we get lucky and Steve can pack us in, here is a list of the stuff we bring in.  With this set up, we can survive some pretty bad storms at 9000 feet in relative comfort.

More Responsible Spreadsheets

Mortgage Payment Calculator - Interested in buying a house?  This calculator will tell you how much it will cost and also includes stuff like mortgage insurance and Ada County property taxes.
